In the course of genealogical research, the Ancestry.com website established family ties between the youth star Justin Bieber and actor Ryan Gosling and singer Avril Lavigne. About four hundred years ago, their common relatives moved to Quebec from Europe.

In addition, Justin Bieber discovered kinship with Celine Dion, a well-known Canadian singer, but on a different kindred line.

Researcher Michelle Erkanben argues that family ties linking so many Canadian stars amazed everyone. “The great thing about learning family history is that you never know what you will find. It was a very pleasant surprise. ”

Family ties are very distant, but still there are: Justin and Ryan are brothers to each other, however, in the 11th generation, and Avril Lavigne is Justin Bieber's sister in the 12th generation. Celine Dion is the closest relative to Justin of all studied - she is the tenth cousin to the performer.

All are united in the family tree by two French couples who moved to Quebec in the 1600s. Margarit Biret with Mathurin Roy, as well as Jacques Vezina and Marie Boysdon. It turns out that Canadian celebrities are actually one family.

Scientists claim that there is no "star gene" inherited in the family, although such a large number of talents among relatives is extremely rare.
