If the pancakes are cooked on fermented milk products, soda is added to the dough so that the baking is magnificent. The dough for fritters is kneaded in milk or water, which is preheated.

Apples are peeled, cored, chopped into small pieces or rubbed. The crushed fruit is added to the dough and mixed.

Ingredients

a glass of low-fat kefir;

5 g ground cinnamon;

egg;

a pinch of salt;

one and a half glasses of flour;

50 g of sugar;

large apple;

vegetable oil;

slaked soda with vinegar.

Cooking method

1. Break the egg into a deep bowl, add sugar and a pinch of salt. Whisk together with a whisk until foam is formed.

2. Pour kefir into the egg mixture. In this case, it should be at room temperature. Continue to beat the egg with kefir. Pour in vegetable oil and carefully mix it in the egg-kefir mixture so that it does not exfoliate and does not stick near the walls.

3. Now add the flour, after sifting it, and add ground cinnamon. The dough should not pour freely from a spoon, but be thick enough.

4. Peel the apple and remove the seeds. Gross the fruit and add it to the dough. Due to the juice that stands out from the apple, the dough will not be so thick. Now add the baking soda, extinguishing it with vinegar, and mix. The result should be a dough that will be quite thick.

5. Pour oil into a pan and heat it well. In a hot oil, put a spoonful of dough and make the fire quieter. As soon as the dough is condensed on top and holes appear on it, turn the pancakes over and fry until golden brown on the other side.

6. Fill pancakes in a stack on a plate and serve with jam, honey or sour cream.

Recipe 3. Lenten pancakes with apples

Ingredients

two apples;

one and a half glasses of flour;

vegetable oil;

7 g of dry yeast;

salt - two pinches;

sugar - 70 g.

Cooking method

1. In a bowl, mix sugar with yeast. Rub them well and pour in the heated water. Stir until sugar dissolves. Salt.

2. Pour flour in small portions and knead the dough not so thick.

3. Wash the apples, peel the skin and remove the seed boxes. Cut the apple flesh into small pieces.

4. Add apples to the dough and knead well. Cover the dough with a napkin and leave it warm for forty minutes for the dough to rise.

Pancakes with apples - tips and tricks

  • Do not add a lot of eggs to the dough, otherwise the dough will turn out too dense.

  • To prevent fritters from becoming flat and heavy, do not add a lot of sugar to the dough.

  • Be sure to sift the flour before kneading the dough to make the pancakes fluffy.

  • Sweet and sour apple will make the taste of fritters more expressive.
