Waking up in the morning, I decided to bake the fastest cake in my opinion - grated with jam. Solved, done. And at lunch, when I realized that I needed to stop and drink tea and cake, I did not find a single piece of cake. Is my family so quickly ate a huge pie on a whole baking sheet? Yes exactly.

Do you want to make the same cake? I am sure that many experienced housewives already know this recipe and it has definitely been tested more than once. But, anyway, we will remind experienced housewives (they suddenly forgot that there is such a recipe), and I will tell you in detail for those who just stand on the pier and think whether they will board a boat called "baking".

In the course of the recipe, I will reveal the intricacies of cooking and small secrets and tricks.

Ingredients:

Margarine - 250 g;

Flour - 500 g (maybe a little more or less);

Baking powder - 1 teaspoon;

Jam - 200 g;

Sugar - 130 g;

Eggs - 2 pcs.;

Vanilla essence - 2 drops.

Recipe:

Take proven margarine for baking. It should be for baking. Put it in a warm place so that it becomes soft. Margarine usually quickly reaches the desired plasticity. Pour sugar into a large bowl and chop the margarine finely.

Beat margarine with butter until sugar dissolves. In my case, margarine did not turn into a homogeneous airy consistency, but small pieces remained. This did not affect the taste of the pie, I would say that the dough turned out to be more sandy. Add vanillin.

Add the eggs.

Beat the dough again with a mixer or whisk. Sift flour in a separate bowl with baking powder.

Add the flour gradually. The quantity of flour depends on the quality of the flour. Therefore, it is not necessary to swell the whole portion of flour into the dough. Add half, then another, until the dough is plastic and sticks to your hands.

The color of the dough can be adjusted by adding 1 teaspoon of turmeric to the dough. The dough will be yellow. And when baking more rosy.

We divide the dough into two parts and put it in the freezer in a bag. We leave it for half an hour so that it freezes and can be rubbed.

We roll out one part of the dough and put it on a laid or greased baking sheet, or a baking dish. We make sides at the edges, bending the dough.

We spread the jam. For such a pie, it is better to take jam - a thicker jam. If this is not the case, but you still want a pie, mix the jam with corn or potato starch (for 100 g of jam, 1 teaspoon of starch). When baking starch thickens the jam, and it does not spread.

We get the second piece of dough and three on top of the jam on a grater.

Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes at 180-200 degrees. The cake should be browned, the dough will become crumbly.

Cool the finished cake and cut into pieces

Good appetite!
